By LNG World News British Ruby (Image courtesy of BP)The 151,645-cbm LNG tanker British Ruby, owned by UK-based energy giant BP, was last week involved in a collision with a tug at Australia’s Port of Dampier.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, October 4 after the British Ruby completed the loading of an LNG cargo at the port, a BP spokeswoman told LNG World News in an emailed statement on Friday.
“While the LNGC British Ruby was moored to the berth, a tug collided with her port aft hull structure causing indentation of the plating, but no breach,” the spokeswoman said.
