API praises House committee proposals highlighting grants for STEM education and funding for regional pilot offshore energy permitting offices

WASHINGTON, November 5, 2015 ─ API today issued support for proposals within the Land and Water Conservation Fund reform package introduced by the House Committee on Natural Resources. The proposals could help allocate much needed resources for regional offshore energy permitting offices and secure funding for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) related education grants for several institutions of higher education as well as important fellowship and internship opportunities within the Department of the Interior, said API.
