By LNG World News Cameron LNG, March 2017 (Image courtesy of the Port of Lake Charles)Construction activities on Sempra Energy’s Cameron LNG export project are expected to resume this week following a week of flooding in Texas and Louisiana due to Hurricane Harvey.
CCJV, the joint venture between CB&I and Chiyoda which is Cameron LNG’s contractor, visited the site Thursday morning and “indicated no significant damage during its preliminary inspection,” Sempra said in a statement issued on Friday.
“CCJV will continue their assessment over the next few days. We anticipate construction activities to resume next week when the site re-opens on September 5,” the company added.
