By LNG World News Galicia Spirit (Image courtesy of Teekay)Teekay’s LNG carrier, the 2004-built Galicia Spirit with the capacity to transport up to 137,814 cubic meters, has come under attack off the coast of Yemen.
The attack was initially reported on October 25 by the crisis management and response consultancy NYA.
Responding to an email by LNG World News, Teekay said that the LNG tanker “experienced a suspected piracy attack whilst off the coast of Yemen.”
No third parties managed to board the vessel during the incident and all crew members are safe and have been accounted for, while the vessel managed to maintain full
