By LNG World News The United States-European Union Energy Council met on Wednesday in Washington discussing energy security in Europe and the United States.
Among topics discussed by delegations was third-party access to gas transmission and storage facilities, access to LNG, as well as energy efficiency measures, that will be critical to meeting the EU’s energy security objectives.
The meeting was chaired by the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, U.S. Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz, EU High Representative/Vice President Federica Mogherini, European Commission Vice President Maros Sefcovic and European Commissioner Miguel Arias Canete.
