Petronet LNG buys spot cargo for November delivery

By Bojan Lepic India’s largest importer of liquefied natural gas Petronet LNG has bought an LNG spot cargo for November under the Platts West India Marker (WIM).

S&P
Global Platts, the provider of information and benchmark prices for the
commodities and energy markets, said on Tuesday that the LNG cargo would be delivered
to Petronet’s Dahej or Kochi terminals.

According to
the company, this was the first time an Indian LNG company concluded a spot
cargo tender priced off the Platts WIM.
