On September 30, a federal judge struck down the U.S. Department of Interior’s regulations on hydraulic fracturing, a blow to the Obama administration’s efforts at putting standards on the drilling practice. A U.S. District Judge in Wyoming issued an injunction against the implementation of Interior’s rules.
