By NGV Global BC Transit CNG bus launch in Whistler
North American transit bus and motor coach manufacturer New Flyer Inc. has announced a new order for its U.S. subsidiary New Flyer of America Inc., for 13 Xcelsior® compressed natural gas (CNG) forty-foot, heavy-duty transit buses. The buses will be supplied to Arlington Transit (ART), a new purchase based on a Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) contract. They will be the first New Flyer CNG buses for ART.
The contract was produced by an assignment based on intergovernmental reciprocity agreement in the DC area.
