First LNG cargo produced from Jangkrik feed gas leaves Bontang plant

By LNG World News Image courtesy of EniItalian energy giant Eni said the first cargo of liquefied natural gas for the domestic Indonesian domestic market, produced from the Jangkrik gas field, has been dispatched from the Bontang LNG plant.
The 22,500 cubic meter cargo is headed to Bali, where it will be unloaded as part of a long-term LNG contract signed with PT Pertamina (PERSERO) in June 2015.
Eni started gas production at Jangkrik field, located in the Muara Bakau block, Kutei basin, in the deep water of Makassar Strait offshore Indonesia, in May this year.
