By LNG World News Image courtesy of ChartChart Industries commissioned the LNG storage and regasification plant that will serve a Jamaican 115 MW power plant that was converted from diesel to natural gas.
The terminal, including storage tanks, manifolds, tank loading, vaporization, boost pumps, boil off gas compression, and the operational control system, was engineered and built by Chart.
Chart’s solution included seven 1,000-cbm cryogenic storage tanks built at facilities in Decin, Czech Republic and New Prague, Minnesota and Thermax high capacity seawater vaporizers.
