Ambitious Methane Reduction Target Announced by OGCI

By NGV Global The Oklahoma-headquartered, international Oil and Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI), now made up of 13 major oil and gas companies, has declared its intention to collectively reduce the average methane intensity of its aggregated upstream gas and oil operations by one fifth to below 0.25% by 2025, and if possible will push to 0.20%, corresponding to a reduction by one third.
